PoL Ubeda Hervas
PoL Ubeda Hervas using photos to express his feelings. He said he doesn't recognise him self anymore and he expresses his feelings in photo form. He keeps the shadow in the photo but he erases the body, because he still doesn't know him self. But he keeps the shoes to make sure there's more than a simple shadow. He calls his photos "I'm Not There". I think his work is simple but very effective because as he quoted "How can we accept that we are changing? How can we accept we hardly recognise ourselves in certain." There is a lot of truth in what he said because in situations we don't recognise ourselves and Hervas has shown this in photo form. I want to try to add his techniques in my work ; I don't want to make my work exactly like him i want to keep some differences.A shadow is something that is not eye catching unless you look down I want to start experimenting with my photos that involves shadows and make the shadows more darker and make the background faded so the shadow is the only thing is visible in the picture.
