Portraits of other people.
This is one of my experimented photos I did. I've decide to mix it up a little buy showing a bit of face so I can see how it looks. To be honest I was just looking through the filters and i liked this one. Its because my original picture was very dal I needed to have at least one picture that is eye catchinG.

I've wanted to create 2 pair of photos,1 with studio lights and 1 with darkness with studio lights in the background I've decided to this because when I had the studio light in the background your face doesn't show and this links to my research photographer PoL Ubeda Hervas . My black and white pictures relates to PoL Ubeda Hervas photography 'Im Not There'. I've came up with some that is displayed above . I choose these pictures because it is very basic and i kept them original because i think the original picture gives the most information about the picture than an edited version. I've also added black and white pictures. I've tried to mix it up with black and white. I've decide to do this because black and white is the only 2 colours that are not colours they are shades and these shades bring a different feeling to your picture that some colours can't do.
PORTRAITS AND EXPERIMENTS WITH SHADES.
I have used an Nikon camera and with Nikon(AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm/:35-5.6G as the lenses. My cameras aperture was matrix metering and exposure : 1/10 of a second F 6/3; ISO 500. I used all 3 lighting. I started with artificial lighting, in the room. Then we went out to use natural lighting on each others faces. Then at the end we ended the lighting exercise by using the studio lights as our last lighting station. We tried to get a dark and a light face by using all the lights (artificial, Studio, Natural) and the studio lights was the most successful lighting for me.
We decided to take a double faced picture because I really liked how Chiaroscuro has showed the shading and shadows. This is how i was influenced because he's work is very different from any other photographers works. I want to use his techniques to improve my photography because to me it looks very cool to have a dark face and a light face making you look like you have 2 faces.

Chiaroscuros photos/My photo
These are the 4 pictures i really enjoyed taking because these are the 4 pictures that i worked the hardest on. So i've decided to work with these. I've used studio lights to create an shadow like affect. This causes the brain to fix an image in your head which is my purpose and playing with the brain a little .

For this particular image I've used the studio lights to get one part of the face facing the dark and the other part of the face facing the light. I've changed the pictures tone in Photoshop I tried to mimic what Chiaroscuro has done with his pictures. I've decided to this because I find the expression 2 faced very interesting, its interesting to me because its not possible to have 2 faces when you clearly have 1 . So I tried to challenged my self and used lighting to get the 2 faced expression in real life. I looked up some photographers that used my techniques in their photography. Chiaroscuros photography is very weird but it matches my ideas.
